Claude Is Eating the World

Claude is having a moment–and then some.

After the fallout from OpenAI’s contract with the Department of War, a protest called “QuitGPT” may have led to a surge in Claude subscribers and sessions on Claude.

Claude became the No. 1 in the App Store for the first time ever.

And, as Rachel Wells reports for Forbes, “Users logged an average of 38 sessions a week vs. 18 with ChatGPT.”

“The impact is being felt, even in workplaces; Claude drives twice the number of sessions in corporate settings, compared to ChatGPT.”

In March, Claude had an increase of 1,497% in usage.

Claude is now No. 2 (behind ChatGPT) in total daily active users, even besting Gemini:

Claude is the most widely used LLM after ChatGPT and even ahead of Gemini.

Imagine this: although Anthropic is particularly strong in the enterprise and business sector, they have also managed to reach the consumer market.
