Claude is having a moment–and then some.
After the fallout from OpenAI’s contract with the Department of War, a protest called “QuitGPT” may have led to a surge in Claude subscribers and sessions on Claude.
Claude became the No. 1 in the App Store for the first time ever.
And, as Rachel Wells reports for Forbes, “Users logged an average of 38 sessions a week vs. 18 with ChatGPT.”

In March, Claude had an increase of 1,497% in usage.
