Claude users upset about restrictions on Fable 5. Anthropic reverses one restriction on using it for others to develop AI models

Anthropic is gatekeeping some of the more powerful uses of its new model Fable 5. One of the uses was in use by competitors to develop other AI models.

Due to the backlash to that restriction, Anthropic reversed its position.
